Still rashy and beat.

Fired through dips and chins, finished with grip. Starting to come back.

Did we miss something, or was there ZERO mention of the Woodall Grip contest on Ironmind? This officially sanctioned contest had the largest, strongest group of competitors in recent history.

Who is not surprised that the former legend is now claiming an "Official World Record" on the "Axle" Deadlift, by one of his acolytes? OFFICIAL WORLD RECORDS are done at sanctioned contests, with sanctioned officials, not at fucking barbecues. We anxiously await the results to be posted at Ironmind. ;)

Sunday - 6/28

Finished up prednisone yesterday for poison ivy. The regimen was murder, but it worked. No pus for 2 days.

Managed to do many dips and chins this week. Did grip everyday. Prednisone wacked strength down.
Dried drops of pus litter the grip floor. ;)

Big fucking deal a pedophile died. This should happen every day. Fuck "Jacko".

Still In Poison Ivy Hell

Doctor quadrupled prednisone dose and got a massive shot. Pus is becoming a way of life.

Still managing chinups and dips. Need to put a towel on floor to soak up pus. Prednisone is destroying strength, but it's working on the rash.

Fucking poison ivy. Good thing none got on hands. Missed no workouts.
Starting to focus on Go Really with left. Knuckle just sensitive now.

Tuesday - 6/9

Left knuckle swelling continuing to go down. Left palm blister fully healed. Never do yard work without fucking gloves!

Isn't it interesting that the former "Grip Legend's" acolytes are not on the confirmed competitor's list for the W'dall grip challenge as well as the pinch king? We look to enormous 2 hand pinch lifts to be done at W'dall's, we also predict "unofficial" records to be set on non standard equipment soon after this competition.

The grip world is about as sleazy as hanging to death in a closet in a Bangkok hotel. ;)

Sunday - 6/7

Worked 12 hour days getting new virtualized infrastructure in place. Did not miss any workouts.

Left hand blister palm hole and knuckle healing nicely.
Right - Plate pinching feeling solid.


We see that the freshly launched "Gripper Superstore" is announcing the Baraban adjustable gripper. If you are new, this is a direct RIP-OFF of the Horne Vulcan Gripper. We will NEVER do business with this vendor or Baraban. Go fuck yourselves. ;)

Past Week

Making steady improvement with left hand rehab. Hauled out Hardy Handshake. Left has been Go Really, Titans and Hardy Handshake. Keep your hand right at the pivot point when using the HH, the leverage is the meanest here. I've found that by concentrating on the last 2 fingers, mitigates the tendency to cheat. I finally have a use for the old 1 inch plates that are lying all over the cellar. Swelling is way down.

Right - Still concentrating on plate pinching with added weight (York 45's + PlateMates).
Get the Horne DVD. Concentrating on the "palm squeeze" will pay off.
