CaptainsofCrush website, directed, yet again, towards our beloved grip forum.
Again we find it hilarious that they would attack the KTA program, where a 1 inch set is demonstrated, as per previous Ironmind rules, then state that their Captains of Crush book is the be all and end all of gripper training. This very tome, clearly shows Nathan Holle demonstrating a 1" set.
Ahh fuckit, we are not wasting any more keystrokes on this inane crap, it's sad that a learned individual would stoop to internet trolling directed toward their customers.

Work was non stop this week, did not miss any sessions, but too fucking tired to
post.
It's sad that the 3.5 certification thread soundly established that Ironmind lets the rules slide for some and not others. The legend wished everyone good luck who is pursuing the 3.5, but no mention of his protege doing over, properly. We remember not too long ago where our legend made a "no tilting" rule up on the spot and seemed to shame the gripster into foregoing his addition to the Blob list. Our "legend" commended him. We guess it only goes one way in gripdom.
Time for a soppresatta sandwich.

What the fuck? Did we just see someone posting UPS tracking information to prove that a 3.5 gripper was sent by Ironmind to the legend's grip lair? All this proves is a "box" was sent from point A to point B. We are not going to address the rest of the nonsense. It is sad to see the legend's acolytes defending a flawed certification. Integrity demands that the certification be done over correctly. It is frustrating to see a fellow gripster asking for clarification on why someone other than Tex inserted the credit card, and having his inquiries deflected by UPS receipt scans. All we see from our vantage point, is that no one took the time to read and Ironmind let rules slide. This situation can easily be corrected by admitting the certification was tainted, and do it over. It is obvious the strength is there. Even us "armchair" gripsters know right from wrong. ;)

We are sitting here with our jaws on the floor. It seems the latest twist in our #3.5 CoC gripper Certification may have been conducted with a 3.5 gripper that was "in stock" at a our favorite "Grip Legend's" facility. What the Fu' ? We were led to believe that Iromind must send the cert gripper?
From the fabled Ironmind Site:
"We will send the judge a brand
new Captains of Crush Gripper for you to use for your closing.
Your judge will open the gripper in your presence, and you are
welcome to do a few warm-up reps on it before
going for your close. "
Look folks it is PAINFULLY obvious that Tex's certification was pre-arranged well in advance to ensure he was first on the 3.5 list. It appears our strong friends from around the world got tossed under the bus, to perpetuate a "southern grip legend's" wishes to remain relevant.
Some sanctimonious gripsters have called for the end of this hot debate. We must respectfully disagree. We have seen the competitive arm of this niche sport develop over the past half decade to establish a set of rules that MUST be followed to achieve and maintain credibility. Many of you have "suffered" through the endless threads hammering out the details of calibrated weights, standard implements, and rules to qualify for national and world contests. Rules must be followed to grant all participants a level playing field. When we grant exceptions, we risk losing our integrity.
Our beloved grip forum - the GripBoard - is the most recognized, established gathering point of grip strength.

"...and the gripster must show the official that he has an acceptable starting position by using his non-gripping hand to slide the end of a credit/ATM card in between the ends of the handles. Once this is done, the official will give the signal to remove the card and begin the attempt..."
What the fuck? Others break their balls following the rules, and the favored few get a pass?
This certification is becoming about as legit as the High School "Who's Who" scam.
