Lower back "compressed" this morning.
Lower back/ab warmup. Elbow traction with Jumpstretch bands.
Shrug's with Apollons Axle - 193x20, 243x20, 263x20, 283x20
Did deadlifts with new Shrug Bar in between shrugs. I love this bar. It feels more like pushing the floor away than "deadlifting" it. My lower back is a grenade with
the pin hanging out, so I need to be careful. This thing I endorse fully.
Lower arms toasted from shrugs.
Grip Training
Left - Blob50 - +5/8lbs Platemate. 9 deadlift attempts. We are almost there. WooHoo!
Right - PDA Blobette - 47.5lbs base weight - 3 single deadlifts with base weight. 14 single deadlifts with +1.25lbs Platemate. Concentrated on form, speed and breaking from floor. Great volume day. Short rests.
Cooled down with seated ratchet levering.
