Romanian Deadlifts w/ Trap Bar - 5x20

Shrugs w/ Apollons Axle - Overhand grip - 193x3, 263x3, 313x3, 363x3, 403x3, 363x5
Lower Arms completely destroyed after this. Felt "on", so went with the 403. Time to re-wave. Trap strength coming back.

Piddled with the Blob50, could not shake the ache from the axle.

Picked up broom and swept for active recovery.

If you are just joining in - I am using the Apollon's Axle from Ironmind. It is a smooth, 2" diameter, 7 foot bar. It weights 33 pounds. Keep in mind if you use pipe or solid stock, there is a BIG circumference difference between 1.875" and 2". Start light with any pulling stuff when working with the thick bar. It adds a whole new dimension of stress to the arms. Don't be stupid, build a wide base.

My hands are not quite 7.5".
